Could still use if in a lawn mower. And, it should till be good enough for your car if there is no gum at the bottom of the tank.

9 months isn't that old. Try to smell the gas and see if it smells sour, also try pouring a little into a clear container and see if it looks yellowish or if it doesn't pour right. If the gasoline looks normal, then I'd say it's still good, 9 months isn't that long..

9 months is very old. I wouldn't use it in a lawnmower, (probably run like shit) but I would dump it in the car/truck then fill the tank with good gas.

Once upon a time, gas used to last a lot longer. New refining methods seem to have made the "shelf-life" of gasoline much shorter.

It's gotten so that I buy 1/2 gallon for my mower at a time. If I know I'm gonna be using my mini-tiller a lot, I'll buy a full gallon. No more.

well it was bought for a pressure washer, I its 87 mine and my parents cars all take 93 and we dont need to use the pressure washer any time soon. Ill check if its good, I cant really look all the way to the bottom to see if its good. And I dont want to fuck up the pressure cleaner.

I've used gas that old before, and had 0 problems, but that probably varies due to storage conditions. Pour some out in a clear or white container, then look at it, and smell it. You can tell when gas has gone off. If it doesn't look/smell right, figure out what to do with it then.

I buy gas for mowing 15 gallons at a time in 3 five gallon containers. The gas I buy in April will go into the mower at the end of the season in November. I top the tank off after the last mowing and mow with that same gas at the first mowing of the spring. I've never had a problem with old gas.

I have a generator for power failures. If the generator is not used, it gets the gas drained and fresh put in it once a year. I take that 5 gallons and pour it right into the car. Once again, no problems - ever.

I understand that your cars run on higher octane gas. Pour a gallon or so in each one before every fill up. It will be diluted down enough to not make a lick of difference.

I use stabil in all my gas powered things . You put it in the gas , get it from walmart/autozone , ect . Gas can last for up to a year or more,as in my boat which has a 30 gal tank and has had 0 problems for the past 5 years in doing so . All my boat buddies also do the same .Home generator , pressure washer , chain saw , and tractor all have some in them.
