Castlevania, could never beat that cheap ass Grim Reaper. An obscure Genesis game as well, Maximum Carnage. Could never beat Carnage.

BG2 for me too. I got through about 3/4 of the super hard tower that descends downwards where you get all of the crazy items in the game (part of the BG2 expansion pack) and just kinda gave up. Each combat was taking so long, it was like studying a game of chess and the number of traps that far down became insane.

Then again my Kensai / Mage dual classed main was awesome.

I would say finish all the Super Mario Brothers games there is. I finished SMB, SMB3, SMWorld, and that's it. I never got to actually complete SMB2, SM64, SMSunshine, SMGalaxy and so many others, including those on the Nintendo portable systems that were released over the years. I did play most of them however, I just completed a very small number, and there's some I never played at all, mostly on portables (or some not on portables too, like Luigi's Mansion on the GameCube and others in the same vein).

Super Mario Land, the first one for the Gameboy... it will make you cry. I probably wouldn't have stuck with it if it hadn't been one of the only games I had at that point :p

I didn't play the original Super Mario Land, but I remember Super Mario Land 2, freaking Wario's castle was so hard.

Still need to complete 5 and 8. I'm also concurrently playing through the sequel to 4 on WiiWare too.
