Old Fox shows from early 90's

Does anyone remember the names of the shows on Fox with the following plots:

1) Down by the shore, or something along those lines. A bunch of 20 somethings occupy a beach house on the weekends,

2) A post-nuclear America with only a few survivors in a house. I think it may have starred Artie Lang, but I'm not sure. There was a giant radioactive ant, I think.
