Old folders safe to delete?

As I update the Radeon software on Windows 10 there are a lot of big, old folders under C:\AMD. I currently have Crimson Relive 17.6.1. Which folders are safe to delete? Crimson Relive folders with lower numbers? The Packages folder (which has subfolders with older version numbers but not the current one)?

Yes you can delete them. They are there if you need to rollback for some reason. Same deal with Nvidia both keep a lot of old files around that you are safe to delete if you don't need them anymore.

I always keep them as AMD usually screws up so many releases I have to go back at least 6 months to find a stable release.
