The above-mentioned mobo is a super socket 7 mobo. The probs is: -

1. When I put in a Cyrix MII 300 Mhz...it booted fine.
2. Put in a K6-2 450 Mhz...mobo sound hi & low beep continiously (means not detect CPU).
3. Put in the Cyrix again...booted fine.

There is no probs w/ the K6-2...coz it booted fine in the other mobo.

Then when I put in the K6-2 into it again...flex the mobo a bit...voila ! it booted fine. Then, installed into casing....mobo beep again. Take it out...flex a bit again...booted fine. Seems tht it could be something wrong w/ the detection on k6-2.

Now, wht's the probs w/ it ? Any idea how to rectified this probs ?

Maybe the board is grounding out?

That board is jumpered which means you have to manually set voltage/cpu bus/cpu multiplier. Make sure they are set properly.

You did change the jumpers for voltage, bus speed and multiplier whilst changing CPUs? The K6-2 is not going to like the 2.9V feed the Cyrix needed ...

As peter and IW said - this is a jumpered mobo. I sold one 3 years ago with a K62-400 o/c as a K62-500 speed and it is still going - this was a really nice motherboard.

Feedback: -

1. Mobo grounding is ok. Since the Cyrix booted fine.
2. Settings is fine. Cyrix is 3.5X66, 2.9v. K6-2 is 4.5X100, 2.2v.

Any other idea ?
