I use an NT 4 PDC for our office, we only have one domain.
When login in from an W2k workstation, you can select which doamin you want to log into. Usually there are 2 choices: login in locally or through the NT domain.
But at one point I experimented with some 2000 server installs, I created a new (temporary) domain for those 2000 boxes to play in. Since all computers were on the same subnet the browser service discovered the new domain and listed it as a third choice in the login box.
That made sense. But those 2000 servers have long since been formated (all gone) yet the login option remains visible on all workstations, even ones which were installed after the temporary doamin had been removed from the network.
So somewhere on my NT 4 PDC (browse master) this dated information is being retained. Anyone know how to flush it?
