so i got this old school dell box, everything is integrated, and i have a tualatin celon 1.3ghz lying around, has anyone made and adapter that will allow an fcpga2 to fint in a slot1 slocket?

cpu says

p3

SL35E philipines

500/100/512

so i'm guessing 500mhz speed, 100mhz system bus, 512kb cache (off chip maybe?)

yes, tualatin to slot adapters are available. But, Dells generally don't like seeing the low Vcore of a tualatin. So, you have to go with something like a powerleap adapter (I think upgradeware makes one too). They have built in voltage regualtors to trick the motherboard. If you go to www.powerleap.com you may be able to check their compatibility chart for your system. I know I used a Tualatin 1.2 on a Optiplex GX1 with no problems and it made a HUGE difference in speed.

Bear in mind that those power leap adapters are usually so expensive it makes the upgrade pointless.A new mbrd, cpu & ram could be cheaper!
If you can use the upgradeware slocket T that's a far better solution cost wise

Btw ,yeah the 512k cache PIII 500's are off chip cache
