My buddy has a Dell Inspiron 2650 that is a few years old. Now, I think Dell has now released new 2650's with PM processors. Almost positive his does not have this. I think the new ones come with 512MB RAM standard. I checked his. Nanya 128MB PC2100. It also has integrated LAN....if that helps anyone place this model. Model # PP04L. I've googled till I can't google no more. I get a lot of threads regarding the "newer" 2650's. Anyhow, he's looking to upgrade it. I'm sure we could swap out hard drives for a quciker one with little hassle. RAM? If I could get some info on the mobo, I could see what's the max this thing can stand. And finally and possibly most importantly, video. I don't see any place to remove a video card......so I'm kinda worried it's using integrated graphics and we're gonna be stuck with them. We've been trying to play C&C Generals on it. It plays, but extremely slow. Don't even really want to play at that speed. Any thoughts? Even if I could just get specs on the mobo, that would be great. Thanks guys.

I am pretty sure that Dell has not been making for more than a year.

The hard drive upgrade will be easy, and is very possible. As for the video card, it can be upgraded in newer Dells. The video card has to be seperate from the mobo to be upgradable..
