Unexpectedly had to replace old (not so reliable) E6600 system and went with a new 3770 system. I'm trying to save a few $ and decided to carry over the PSU, which is :

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139002

System is 3770K, Asus P8Z77-V Pro, 212 EVO cooler, (1)SSD + (1) HD, BD-R, 650 GTX Ti vid card, and 3 case/cooling fans

Now I know 620W should be adequate, my main concern is, spec-wise, whether my PSU is the exact same revision as the one shown above. Were there multiple Rev.s of this PSU ? Would it matter ? The sticker from my box is long gone (rebate) and there's no info/sticker on the PSU itself either.

I coulda sworn it said ATX12V v2.1 & EPS12V 2.9, not ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V 2.91 as shown on the link above.

You should be fine with that PSU. Up until 2 weeks ago, I still ran an old HX620 on my test bench. Rock solid, bullet proof, and still strong. I've used it with modern boards all the way to 990FX based and Z77 based boards.

Thanks for the reinforcing comments everyone. I figured all would be OK. Only downside I could find is my rev. only has the 6 pin PCIe.

Also, thanks for that link lehtv - I was trying to find some specs on the unit, Corsair had removed all their info. 83% efficiency isn't bad for a PSU as old as this one and I had forgotten it was a rebadged S12.
