I have a 960 and a 760ti can they be bridged? I hate to think I have to toss the 760. Or is there a use for it?

I have to keep the 960 as its the only card I have to put into a build I am making until prices drop and stock replenishes.

No, they can't be SLI'd. Need to be the same GPU.

If you play games that support physx. You could run the 760 as dedicated physx. Theres mixed reviews and results from doing so but it may be an option

very few games use GPU accelerated Physx, it was a big marketing thing back in 2007-2011 but it's forgotten now, so no big loss.

760 is still a capable enough basic gaming card, probably not too far from a 1050 in games that work well with Kepler
