Old card new card

Hi folks,
just asking i have a HD4870 512 version on my AMD Rig at the moment, and i'm gettin an offer for an upgrade to a HD4870x2 for $150 is this a wise move or should i keep my cash for a better deal on a HD6xxx line card ?

Athlon II x3 2.7 ghz
Corsair Vengeance 8 gb 1600
MSI AM3 motherboard
750w Thermaltake Psu
2 500gb Wd hard drives
HD 4870 512Mb

yea... it's one of those unlocked chips... turns to a quad on the right board.... but the thing is should i take this deal now or hold off... i know that the card is gonna be severely bottlenecked but i need a little more gfx power than what the 512 card can offer...


oh btw i don't reside in the usa... or else i guess i could get some better deals lol...

150$ is a good deal, make sure its a 2gb version (1gb per gpu).
If you unlock the cpu and give it a little overclock, I think you will be very happy.
