I've spent the past week trying to get gentoo linux installed on this board, but I encountered a thousand and 1 different problems. I know it can't be related to the engineering of Gentoo, so I thouht of something else to try. I found my winxp cd and tried installing... BAM!!! blue screen, the ACPI bios in this system is not fully compliant with ACPI specifications. So, I updated the bios to the latest one... same BSOD. I then tried my win2k cd... low and behold... same BSOD.
Does anyone else have this board? Does anyone else have a fix? Has anyone even had this problem?
