Seeing the forum search issues, I decided to try Google for searching the forum. Well, for new posts that works, but for older posts I'm just getting redirected to the main page.
Example: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=28&threadid=2179639
That kind of link used to redirect to the equivalent page. When I try cut-and-pasting the threadid, that doesn't work either:
http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2179639
I imagine it's not a high priority right now, but it would be nice if it could be fixed soon.
