I have a P-60 on an old Micronics 430LX board. It has 3 PCI and 5 ISA slots. Are any of the PCI slots bus-masters?

I have a Matrox Mystique 220 (PCI) and a DLink538TX+ NIC (PCI) ( also an SB16 ISA card). On every cold boot Win98 forgets settings and I get it booting up in safe mode. The vidcard and the NIC conflict. I have to manually set i/o-range & mem range every cold boot. I read that old comps had problems with more than one bus-master capable card. Could this be a reason?

Does anyone have any 430LX manual? Or its specs?

TIA
Ciao

Look around on Intel's site...they have a lot of info on their chipsets.

430LX chipset huh? That's one chipset you won't hear about often, and you won't find any information on it at the Intel website. Intel retired all online support for this chipset over 2 years ago.

The 430LX chipset does not support busmastering...:(

Chipsets including the 430FX and after supported busmastering, with the PIIX (rev 1) South Bridge. The 430LX (Mercury?) chipset will not support bus master capable cards.
