oktober fest beer

I got 12 pack of summit oktoberfest beer last night, it's ok but not something i would make as my go to beer, I had a few Point oktoberfest beers at a bar last week, same thing

but I like to drink the fresh stuff, since this all hit the stores a few weeks ago I will drink it for a while

Yeah I never much had a taste for them ,but each year I actually like them more

Fresh Spaten bottles come in second. Just for quaffing though.

never a fan of Ocktoberfest beer. there are just too light... ( i didn't like the Spaten neither)

me = dark beer and IPA forever.

Paulaner and Spaten oktober always seemed kinda light and thin to me, well any of it I drank in the usa anyhow

That's the idea. Plenty fucking tasty & sessionable. Malty, bready, crisp, bit of a bite, delicious.

well really it's the flavor I 'm not in love with, don't get me wrong it's ok
just not my favorite style of beer

I'm more of a ale man, pale ales are my go to beer, but I like varierty

Pick up some of the Schell's Oktoberfest...i like that much more than the Summit. Only two i've tried this year so far though.

I did a search but it didn't come up i had oktober but itself with out fest as one word

I'm having a summit right now, the Point seemed smoother thou, but it's hard to compare when there not side to side on the same day

if you like malt beer instead of hops I can see how you like oktoberfest beer more

maybe I will try schell's but that's not my favorite brewery
city brewery used have a oktoberfest beer that they sold in the twin cities, it was smooth, but I haven't seen it this year yet
