Hey, Just curious to know if anyone from the Tulsa/OKC/Anywhere in Oklahoma made it out to the Spot Rocks the River festival last night?
IMO Shinedown sucked. Seether really surprised me when they did a phenominal cover of Nirvana's "You Know You're Right." I almost died when they started playing that. OLP was awesome -they played all the greats from when I was in high school and then some new stuff. 3 Door Down rocked also and even came back for an encore. Their drummer put on a good 10 minute drum solo during which time the band members even left the stage. With the strobe lights going you couldn't even tell how fast he was hammering those drums.
I went to the show with fairly low expectations but left overwhelmed.
But... I'm doubting that anyone who was there even knows about these forums.
At anyrate if you get a chance to see 3 Door Down -do it.
