I currently have a Oki c3400 Color laser printer. Its fantastic as far as prints go. Though now it seems I am going through too much ink. I buy an ink cartridge every 1-2 weeks and there supposed to yield 1000 pages.
I am looking at the 5500n series as I can get cartridges that yield 5000 pages. So this is how it breaks down
3400n per cartridge: 61.99 for a 1k ink cartridge
5500n per cartridge: 141.99 for a 5k ink cartridge
Its obvious that id save much overtime but my question is can anyone here recommend me a good color laser printer in this range that has as good quality prints as the Oki? This is for people with a experience with Oki and others don't just say hp or brother is better if you've never seen a print from Oki. I looked at all the brick and mortar places and I was very impressed by Oki print quality. Though I think the quality eats into the ink.
I don't know why this post is as long as it is I figure the more info the better but for those who can help.
