Okay what's the BEST cooling solution??

I want to buy a k6-2+ and do some major o/cing on it. What would be the best cooler for this puppy? Willing ot spend about 30 bucks. Are the GlobalWin ones any good?

GlobalWins are great for what you are looking at doing.
The new FOP32 replaces the FKP32 for the K6.

http://www.millisec.com has two versions, the standard FOP32 and one with a higher cfm fan.

O/Cing a K6-2+? That's a no-no. At least, I'm about to own the same setup that you're talking about (with the Globalwin FOP 32 on a K6-2 550) and don't plan on o/cing it because I"ll only be able to get 570 or so (which isn't worth it for the risk).

K6-2+ will use a 0.18 manufacturing process (instead of 0.25 of the regular K6-2) so they must overclock better.At www.tomshardware.com they overclocked a 500MHz K6-2+ at 600MHz at 2.1 Volts.

Descend492 you only expect to get the cpu to 570? I guess you haven't read much on the k6-2 550 o/cing? On the Amdzone bbs many people got that at 600 easily.

Well, I can't change the bus speed because I have too many sensitive cards (a TV tuner and a very expensive sound recording input card), so that limits my max CPU speed
