Okay, this is a strange problem...

We have wireless internet access using, I believe, a D-LINK router, my computer is one of several receiving access over the LAN.

It all worked fine until a couple days ago when suddenly I cannot connect to anything. Now, I can browse the internet just fine, which is how I'm posting this, but I can't connect or download files from FTPs, IRC, Bittorrent, or any P2P programs. I thought it was a problem with my computer so I ran spyware removal software and tried restoring my system to an earlier savepoint, all in vain, then I checked and it is a problem affecting all of the computers on our LAN.

Do you have any idea what could be going on? Website viewing works fine but I cannot connect to anything.

Some one got tired of the bandwidth being sucked up by bittorrent & company, and shut all ports down associated with bittorrent, ftp, etc? Check the router and see if there have been any config changes.
