That's from the fact that it caused a nice chemical burn. Didn't you read the directions on that stuff? I've used it once to remove some unsightly hair (worked quite well) and it says right on the bottle how long to leave it on and that you wash the stuff off. Since it works by essentially burning off the hairs chemically, you have to make sure you get it all off or it'll just keep right on working.

I at least hope you have a girlfriend to make all that pain worth while 😉
