so my monitor suddenly shows "no video" while my computer is on this morning. I shake the mouse, reboot, nothing. No video.

Swap out a different monitor. Same thing. The question is I'm not even sure if my machine is booting because if it just was a problem with the vid card, wouldn't I hear the sounds of my machine booting up?

What gives? What should I do?
