Makes sense... most people don't use PS/2, serial or parallel ports anymore.

And there are probably USB adaptors for all of them (I know there is for PS/2, fairly certain there is for serial, no idea about parallel).

That's so weird.

We get some GX620's here, but I don't think they're that barren in the back

Wow, that sucks. I hate USB keyboards. I like being able to get into the bios, thanks.

Keep the serial ports. A computer needs a serial port.

Why? The only device I have that uses a serial port is 6 years old. I think very few people use their serial ports anymore. Why leave them on there for the millions who don't need them so the few people who do need a serial port don't have to use an adaptor?

BTX nothing, lots of computers haven't come with PS/2 ports for quite some time.

Is this really your first encounter with a system that has no PS/2 ports?

You should be able to buy an adapter... still sucks having to do that for a brand new piece of equipment, though.

Yeah, our GX620s have 6 usb, a serial, video, parallel, sound and audio on the back.

I for one will not use a computer at home that doesn't have a ps2 port. I have to use my 15 year old compaq clicky keyboard or else.

You can get a USB to 2 PS/2 adaptor for like $5.

So, get a USB adapter.

Edit-I'm kind of surprised it didn't come with one actually.
