Okay, I've got $250 to spend... what DVDs should I get?

I'd really rather not get into box sets but I'm thinking about getting the Godfather trilogy. Besides that I'm open to pretty much anything. I've only got about 50 DVDs and am having trouble finding more movies I like.... What DVDs should I buy?

here are sum of my favorites:

Gladiator, Snatch, Fight Club, LOTR 1 and 2, and even though its a cheesy movie its always nice to have in ones collection: Fast and Furious.

All 7 seasons of Star Trek: TNG (i dont care if you dont like box sets, Captain Picard owns your face!)

Arnold's Pumping Iron 25th anniversary edition

I would like to buy all the box sets of the James Bond movies but they're friggin expensive 🙁 And sorry I'm not a hardcore trekkie and am not spending $700 on star trek (although one of my friends did 😕 ) 😛

Meh, I've already got the regular releases of both LOTR movies, don't really want to spend $30 each on the same movie + 30 or so minutes of extra scenes.

I agree, buy Snatch, but do yourself a favour and buy and watch Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels first.

TTT was better as an extended. Definately.

It probably was, I thought it felt kinda rushed and confusing with the 3 different viewpoints throughout the movie. Still don't want to buy it though 😉

Die Hard, the collection
Indiana Jones (collection)
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Gladiator
P.o.C: Curse of the Black Pearl
Austine Powers 1 & 2

Donnie Brasco
God Father (collection)

Micheal Jackson's History
The Wall

... and a whole lot more... I'm too lazy to list them...

OK, but it's not the same movie. It's not just deleted scenes....I don't think you understand. They also have the best extras of all-time...if you're into that behind-the-scenes bonus material stuff.

The audio/visual quality is also improved.
