Yeah, Winamp 3 does suck. I couldn't even figure out how to load my MAD plugin -- very lame. I never though nullsoft would release such a bloated POS. That is what always made Winamp so great - no bloat, just the features you need.

Agreed. At this rate they are just a release or 2 away from turning into worthless bloatware like Real Audio.

I leave mine on all the time its not always playing music but its still open. i just minamize it when i play a game. i leave Trillain running when i game also because it dosent kick you out of games when you get messaged. it actually dosent make a sound.

me three That's really the reason why I use it at work - so I can have my entire library at hand and switch between albums very easily. I still use 2.78 at home since I'm too lazy to switch there...

Ironically, Winamp is getting worse while Windows Media Player (with WMP9) gets better. I got rid of Winamp 3 within a few days of installing it.
