"Stand up or roll over."

This neighborhood, despite an influx of younger couples fixing up the houses and such, has had more than its share of problems with crime. Nice to see that some of its residents are really trying to do something about it. 🙂

Good story. Glad to see the community is working together to fight crime. Stomping out that fear is a major step in reform. 🙂
I'm really impressed this woman had the guts to stay in the neighborhood and stand up to these assholes after having her house firebombed. That would certainly give me cause for pause.

:Q She's very lucky! I remember the story of the lady in Baltimore who was firebombed because she was reporting drug dealers on her street corner. She lost all her children in the blaze.

Good for the lady in this story though. Strong communities will prevent crime better than 1000 cops.

Just think if everyone have a gun these things wouldn't happen. . .
Maybe, but the incidents involving toddlers accidentally shooting themselves or others would skyrocket. You know americans aren't responsible enough for the most part to keep weapons in their homes........hell, they can barely drive cars without killing themselves.

Yeah, really makes you wonder what they were thinking back in the 50s with the flying cars and all the other wonders of the future that required humans to operate in three-dimensions. Most have problems operating in two-dimensions! 😉
