The new bypass they're building is pretty impressive.

Spillways aren't doing to much these days, they should let tourists inside.

I was just at Hoover Dam this December around Christmas time. Interesting place, and very interesting how they built it. I have to admit...that bypass is practically necessary. It took an hour in stop and go traffic to get to Hoover Dam without it. I can't imagine what it would be like in the summer vacationing season.

I figured the bypass would be close to completion now. Went there about 2 years ago and I remember seeing some of the support pillars already installed.

bunch of cranes fell over a couple years ago and caused a delay.
