Okay for an adult to take children's gummy vitamins?

If they are safe for kids, I would doubt it would do anything to you. The big question is, why the heck would you want to

nope, shouldn't be too much of a problem, the only caution I would have is the gelatin content, I have heard when people eat large amounts of this stuff, it can cause digestion problems. And on top of that, all the vitamins will turn your pee bright green/yellow, kinda like the color of Mountain Dew...

Umm..... Why on earth would they be harmful in any way, shape or form? 😛 They're vitamins.......

but yes, don't take a suppliment unless you really need to. You should never have to if you have a very well balanced diet.

I bought a big bottle of these at Costco for $10 yesterday (impulse buy).

Has anyone else tried these?

It won't hurt me to take them, will it?

I've actually eaten six or seven already... they taste just like regular gummy bears, and are a little too easily accessible for snacking on. 😱

I have the exact same products... sometimes get them buy-one-get-one free.

When I'm sick, my 4 year old likes to get a couple out for me. 🙂

As long as you don't have more than 5-6, they can take the place of adult vitamins.

Whoo, I'd like to find a buy-one-get-one free deal for these! Thanks, Isla... tomorrow, I'll stop after I've had five or six. 🙂

And no, overall your body is pretty good at filtering out what you need and don't need. There are also water soluable and lipid soluable vitamins/minerals. The minerals can mess you up, but I doubt there are large quantities in those gummies, and any water soluable vitamin that your body does not need AT THE MOMENT will just get flushed out. So things like vitamin c, b cannot be stored by your body, so no danger of overdosing. And the others like, vit e and A, it would take so much before you start to have negative effects, like birth defects and hair loss, she still has no worries. She would have to be taking millions of IU's of both for months before she has a problem, or if she were diabetic, then it would be fairly easy... so i say, eat all the gummies she wants, just don't keep going costco style for months on end
