Okay I have no problem with people playing good music and singing along, but there are two distinct problems with this d-bag.

a) he sucks.
b) he plays at 3:30-4:00 in the morning. This is the first time I've ever heard him play during the day.

I've brought it up with the landlord, who has talked to him about it, yet he persists.

Now really, theres nothing I can do on my end, I live in a building that was built in the 1920s, the walls are paper thin, so there is one thing I can do. Play. Louder than he can.

oh, and I got z-680's and a police scanner when I was in your situation. I used the police scanner so that I could shut my gear off when the cops were finally called to stop my retaliation.

Frankly, I live on a white collar campus, marijuana is the lightest thing floating around. You have a bunch of rich white kids it tends to escalate to meth and cocaine.

I smoke weed infrequently, I'd feel like a hypocrite.

Are you kidding me, the z2300 speakers have a 120 watt RMS sub woofer. They are exceptionally loud. great at pissing off your next door neighbor, or the one 2 doors down, the one above you, and also the one below you. 🙂 haha


I own a z550 speaker set which has a similar subwoofer. These things kick a$$. 🙂 I live in a dorm on the 3rd floor. besides the sub, the sound is crystal clear and beautiful. I ocassionally open my windows and let the sound flow. ( Tiesto rocks) Its so loud you can have a party under the building from the sound 3 floors above.

As for what to play for your nice friend below. you can download sound effects specially meant to be played on thx speakers. i will look for the link and post soon. HAHA
