I'm picking up my new system tomorrow tbird 900 and AIW Radeon.. I run 3DS MAX and a lot of other graphics apps.. and I needed the AIW for multimedia.. ATI says that the video capture stuff doesn't work on NT? The card will run on NT though, just without the capture capabilities right??? I use NT cause it's stable and I'm not a gamer.. 3DS MAX only runs on NT anyways... and the types of programs I use just run better on it... I am going to have dual boot 98SE with NT though... still need to capture video? Anyways, is this a big problem with that card? for anyone who owns one and has run it on NT.. thanks

Who told you that? I ran r2 a couple yrs back with win95, I dont see why it shouldn't work with win98.

On the Radeon box it states that the system requirements for operating systems are Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows Me. I don't know if ATI has posted any NT drivers on their website or if Windows 2000 drivers will work on NT.

If they don't have NT drivers already, I wouldn'd hold your breath for them though.

I checked the site.. apparently they offer drivers for "display only" on windows NT.. would the quality still be good? hmmmm

If they offer display drivers, I would have to say they would look sharp just like their other drivers for other operating systems.

My advice though is to upgrade your NT to Windows 2000 in the future, that way you can use all the other great features.

Good luck!

By display only I assume they mean that most of the 3D features are not implemented in the drivers. Only the basic 2D desktop stuff.
