Haha, fast load chrome tape!

Raid on Bungeling Bay was a great game. I think by the time I got it, I'd moved up to disk drive, though.

I wonder if it'll come with accessories, like the amazing 300 baud modem?

Buying games is for noobs. Real c64'ers buy the game books and write the code themselves. ;)

There was a store where I grew up that would RENT games. LOL. Once I found that place I never bought another game for my C64.

Anyone remember Ultimate Wizard? That game was the shit. You could make your own mazes and traps etc.

Or Archon. Unicorn FTW

"Commodore PC64, an Intel Atom-powered PC featuring 4GB DDR3 memory, SATA 1TB HDD, HDMI output, optical drive (either DVD/CD or optional Blu-ray), and more -- all in "an exact replica" of the original beige C64 chassis. Of course, doing any significant amount of work with the original Commodore keyboard will probably be a challenge, but we like to think we're up to it. As always, we'll believe it when we see it, but in the meantime we'd like to be the first to formally request a review unit. If everything goes according to plan, this bad boy should be out in time for the holidays."

I may get one just for the fun of it.

I miss those days. That's when computers were exciting. Wow! the new C64 has 320x200 resolution! Holy crap! check out the SID chip! That's like having a 3 channel synthesizer in your computer! Oh and 64K RAM! You couldn't possibly use that much memory.

Now it's 3280X2048 resolution - Meh. 6 Gigs of RAM! - big deal. I guess Moore's law has jaded us.

I remember being blown away when I got to work on a Cray XMP as an intern...OK, I guess I'd still be blown away if I got to work on a modern super computer...or would I?

Not me, still have a C128 in the basement. Still have 6 containers of 5.25" floppies too.
