I have to say that when it comes to hip-hop/rap , it better make sense or have some kind of point. I dislike those booty songs that talk about round butts, backin this up, 69ing this and that. I was thinking about Eminem and his songs cuz its always played on the radio. Hes not that great of a rapper and doesnt sound to appealing, but some of his stuff is good and has content.

That stan song is so much better than anything that is made these days when it comes to hip-hop. It has 4 parts. His fan Stan is writing/rapping a letter to him. First letter he talks about how big of a fan is, and about his own life. Second letter,he starts to wonder why eminem is not writing back, ect. Last letter, he is in his car with his pregnant wife, he is insane in the head and infuriated that eminem has not written back, so he drives over the bridge, with the letter in there(he is drunk). Then last part of the song it is eminem finally writing back and then talkin about seein on the news of a person driving over a bridge. All parts of the song the voice and tone is different, which will be obvious. that is much differetn from your everyday hip-hop songs thats why i like songs like this. very interesting.

hold up,oops i wasnt paying attention, the words/story of this song was copied? hmm, if thats true not too sure now.

dohyun: The actual song and hook have been copied from a song by Dido. The lyrics to all the verses are all original.

You guys are forgetting one thing that makes him different than the other rappers out now, he doesn't constantly ramble on about "gangsta hoes gonna pop a cap in yo cops beeyyaachh a$$" type themes. He actually touches some culture/music issues but most people get too offended by what he's saying to actually see that. So if you think about it, he's actually quite original and that's possibly one of the reasons I can actually stand listening to his music.

emenem maybe popular, but he is far from rich.
Dr. Dre is rich though.
Dr. Dre is punking emenem hard.
Dr. Dre knows how to make a punk b!tch out of emenem because
Dr. Dre got punked hard by Eazy-E and Jerry Heller (NWA).

The only reason why Eminem is popular is because Dr. Dre introduced him. If it wasn't for Dr. Dre, everyone would just toss him down as another dumb white rapper.
I don't even like rap, so no biggie for me.
