I just noticed this morning that im getting some rather unusual cpu spiking. Noticed it when playing some dflw, the screen started pausing on me every few seconds or so. I did some investigating and watched my processes and the cpu usage bar, i dont seem to have any unwanted spyware or programs running. Ran Adaware, Spybot, the microsoft spyware tool and am running Mcafee antivirus as i type this. The only process that seems to be the culprit is Winlogon.exe as it goes up to about 12 - 30% and in perfect step with the usage bar.
