OK.........what did I do wrong this time?

I went into the Control Panel and opened the Display icon. I changed the font size from the large 120 dpi to the standard 96 dpi and clicked Apply and got the regular re-start the computer dialog box. When the computer attempted to start it would progress as far as the initial window's screen and then I'd get a "No Signal " box on the screen and the moniter would go into sleep mode. Attempted re-starts would get an error boot message and send me to the BIOS to re-set it to standard settings, after re-setting the BIOS and attempting to re-start would end up with the same "No Signal" message on the monitor. But wait.....it get's better. I then had the bright idea of disabling, via BIOS, the ATI xt1900 video card and using the on-board video instead. Bad idea, now the monitor never come out of sleep mode when attempting to boot. At least before the monitor would come on until Windows actually booted up. Any thoughts on how I get my computer working again?

Physically remove the ATI card from the computer. Boot using the onboard video to get into the BIOS and undo whatever change you made to disable the ATI card. Turn the computer off and put the ATI card back in. Attempt to boot Windows normally again. If it still fails to load completely, boot into Safe Mode and either use System Restore to go back to a point before you made the font changes, or manually reset the display settings (possibly even uninstall and re-install the ATI drivers if manual changes don't resolve the problem).

I pulled the ATI video card and an ATI TV Wonder card that I just installed yesterday, thinking it may have something to do with the problem. Still not getting a signal to the monitor. Even removed the battery and moved the jumper to clear CMOS, but still nothing. I have another monitor I can try in the morning.

Clear the CMOS, and ensure that you have the proper input type selected in your monitor (DVI or VGA).

Got it up and running again using the wifes monitor. Now I"ll start putting it back together again and keep my fingers crossed. Appreciate the help guys.
