OK, what am I missing here? This should be easy...

So I have some files I want to transfer from one computer to the other, and although I have no shortage of portable media, I decided to try something new and create a file-sharing connection between the two. They are both connected to the same wireless router, one running Win2k Pro (connected via Ethernet) and the other running WinXP Pro (Connected via wireless). I've tried XP's network setup wizard, gone through several google-obtained tutorials, and so far nothings worked. I can get the workgroup setup, but for some reason the computers aren't seeing each other. Argh.

I've played LAN games between the two, so I know this connection is possible...

Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.

Well I feel stupid. *Smacks self in head*

I'd already configured everything appropriately, but Comodo was getting in the way. Changed a few settings, BAM everything works now. Thanks for the links though. Useful stuff.
