Ok,
I have as title states the Antec P160 case. Have had it for a good while, and enjoy it very much.
I recently purchased the Dell 2005FPW monitor. While waiting for it to arrive, I gave my Sony 17" LCD to my daughter, and went to use her monitor. (Hers was a Sony 17" CRT) Well, when I tried to plug in the monitor, I could not fit it on my vid cards connector....
I have an ATI X850 XT vid card, and where the DVI outputs there is a bar from the case right above it. It seems my Sony LCD's connector was thinner. So, I used another monitor for a couple of days... Well, the Dell arrived, and ... yep, same problem, if not worse. The Dell's DVI plug has a fatter end on it, than my Sony LCD as well. I can't plug it in!! I can't believe it. Who has ever heard of such a thing??
So, I have no idea what I can possibly do. I suppose my only recourse is I will have to cut out that part of the case. (Stupid, but I don't see any other recourse)
If anyone has experienced this, or has this case... I would appreciate ANY help, advice, etc.
Thanks.
