ok to use human shampoo for guinea pig?

dont have the money to spend on that right now (5 bucks in bank) ... is it ok to use regular human shampoo?

just use some baby shampoo. if it dont make babies cry then i doubt a guinea pig will be hurt

im a student i live with other students... theres no baby shampoo nearby!

my cousin in law killed her cat using human shampoo. I say proceed with caution.

Be VERY careful.

Guinea pigs, being small animals have a large surface area to volume ratio. That means that getting wet has a disproportionately great cooling effect on them. You MUST keep them warm and out of drafts while they are drying, or pneumonia is a likely outcome.

my family used to have a lot of guinea pigs, maybe I'll get my own again.

i hate my stupid guinea pig...

LOL ok maybe not but he brings me more agravation than joy... ive tried everything and the little bastard is still terrified of me... i wish he would understand: if i wanted to hurt him it would be very very easy to do. i dont want to. he shouldnt be so scared... dammit.
