Ok to use glossy photo paper in a laser printer????

Just got my first little laser printer (HP 1012).

Just wondering if gloss photo paper would be a bad idea since laser printers have a heated roller that melts the toner onto the paper.......

Glossy paper a bad idea???? Anyone ever try it???

pretty sure you can get photo paper for laser printers, just make sure that it says "for laser printers" somewhere on it.

Yeah, it will say it's OK for laser printers on the package. Otherwise, don't use it. It's the high temp that is used to fuse the toner to the paper that demands special paper. So never use paper that isn't rated for laser or photocopy machines which use the same toner technology.
