OK to tie loose knot in speaker wire?

I am running the speaker wire for my rears up the wall. It is rated for in wall use.
Is it OK to tie a loose knot it them to keep them from falling back down into the wall or am I going to introduce interference?

Yes, it's just fine. For the most part signal interference is going to happen when you have powered wires right next to signal wires (like RCA). Folding speaker wire on itself will do nothing to the sound

Yes, have no worries loose knots are fine. It is very difficult to induce significant noise into a speaker. This is why most speakers cables are still never made shielded...even if you pay $15,000 a foot for it 😉

I pulled all my baseboards off and routed a channel in the back. Then I ran the wires in the channel and into the wall. I fished it out behind the speakers and tied the knot. Now I have no visible wires to the speaker.

Which reminds me. In my old house, I ran the wire in the wall behind he entertainment center, up into the attic and then back down another the wall to the rears. I took out the driver and then mounted the speakers to the wall though the hole left by the driver. Re-installed the driver, viola. No wires or mounts.
My wife hired a painter to paint while I was out of town (surprise for me so I wouldn't have to do the work) and he had to paint around the speakers because he couldn't figure out how to get them off the wall.
