You should be OK if you have good case flow. Touch the chip on the back of the card. If it is warm to very warm you are golden. If it burns after about five seconds then add a case fan to blow some air over it. The 9100's were not high heat producers.
You can get an aftermarket cooler fairly easily, you can also make one yourself with a couple of 40mm case fans mounted correctly will cool it just fine.
The card gets warm, but not hot. I think the airflow in my case is pretty good. The video card is the only card plugged into the motherboard, and all the loose cables are tied up at the top of the case.
