OK to put a Zip Drive on with a Hard drive - same cable

Hey - certain that this has been covered before.

1 IDE controller, with one Hard drive, I IDE Zip and one each CD and DVD Drive.

If i put the Zip with the hard drive, will the ATA100 hard drive step down to ATA33 performance.
