2 dual receivers, 4 regular receivers. I don't *have* Dish Network, but Bell buys their equipment from Dish Network.

stupid question from a guy with cable: why is there a limit? can't you just throw up another dish once your first one can't hold a more LNBs?

as many as you can afford .... the new 'switch' , if i remember correctly, let you put other switchs to it to allow you to add more receivers.

this is dish pro or dish pro plus...not legacy.

The second dish would require another account, at least through ExpressVu.

They'll lease you up to 4 tuners (so, 4 receivers, or 2 two tuner DVRs). After that, you can add as many as you want, as long as you supply them and the switches.

for example, switch 32... all the dishes go into that switch...
and then from the switch to the receivers.

the receiver, send instruction to the switch to accquire the correct feed from the dish.

they sell various switchs on ebay.

It's what the LNBs of the Dish connect to and tt distributes the signal to your receivers. Most of them only have 4 outputs, so they limit you to 4 tuners so that they don't have to supply more than one switch.

Used one of these last weekend on an install and worked great. Kinda pricey, but allows 16 recievers

wow! don't need that many recivers! hehe

does this degrade the quality of teh signal?
