Well, I took all my packages to the post office today ). Unfortunately, at the post office, there was an unfortunate incident. I gave a box to the lady (motherboard) , and get the postage for it etc. She puts it down on the gound.......I give here my next package. This one happens to be very big and heavy (I was shiping 44+ pound speakers). I put it on the counter, and politely tell her you might need some help with those....they are kinda heavy. She insists she can do it. She mangages to pick it up and tries to carry it, but she loses her grip on thing and lands RIGHT ON THE BOX WITH YOUR MOTHERBOARD! I thought I did a suerb job of packing it, but aparently, not good enough (I doulble boxed it with pop corn and bubble wrap!). The box was totaled, not to mention the fact I heard a SNAP (although it could have been the popcorn or bubble wrap). Needless to say, I was PISSED! I know it wasnt her fault but still! I didn't get insurance on it! I had here give me the box back so I can take it back to my house. I asked her if it is really broken, she told me that I have to call their Corporate Center.

I took the box out at home, and it does not look to good for the motherboard. I already see one broken capacitor and some bent ones. I guess I will have to hassle with USPS now, and probably fight a loosing battle

So many packages are labeled as FRAGILE these days, it doesn't mean anything anymore. I honestly think it means nothing to them. I've recently seen USPS employees chucking around any and all packages in the back area, while 'sorting'.

That's terrible, but funny at the same time..

I had the same experience. I shipped a $100 part back on RMA. They manufacturer said it didn't arrive and USPS couldn't tell me if it got there or not. Now I'm out $100. Stupid $hi1ts

I would have never left the post office without speaking to a manager or the postmaster if s/he was there....

At this point it is your word against hers and if she denies she dropped the big box on the motherboard, there really isnt much you can do to prove she did.
