I have a T'Bird 800@990 via 110FSB x 9.0 x 1.85v When I run prime95, seti@home, cpu stability test, and burnbx, no probs. Run the same topology and throw in 3DMark2K and she crashes. Run Diablo II only, she crashes. What is the deal with that? I know the temp isn't to high, under the first load indicated above its only pulling 40.5 - 40.7 I even backed the d*mn thing back to 950 via 100FSB x 9.5 x 1.85 and 1.8 still the same results under all topologies. Same goes for 900 via 100FSB x 9.0 x 1.7, 1.75, 1.8, and 1.85. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
 
What leads you to that conclusion? But it's funny you should say that. I haven't really noticed anything in other apps/games (of course I don;t get to use the machine that much either) but when playing TFC, it's like the vid card is to slow. Like the textures are choppy and stuff........

First off does it work when it's not overclocked. It's a dumb question but let's make sure that it does work but just not when overclocked.

It could be the vid card only because it doesn't seem to crash in non-3d apps. But it your running 100fsb and your agp bus is normal(66) then it shouldn't be an agp bus that's clocked to high. By the way, what vid card do you have and the driver revision?

We need more info on your system. Could be drivers, could be hardware, could almost anything.
 
Sorry about that fellas, the system runs fine at 800. I didn't seem to have any probs with Diablo II after I set everything back to default. The system specs listed below:

T'Bird 800 (chip was oc'd using Circuit Works conductive pen)
Kanie HedgeHog with 37 Delta
Artic silver
ASUS A7V
128 MB Mushkin High Pref PC133 Rev2 Cas2
LeadTek WinFast Geforce DDR Rev 2 (running denonator 6.22 I think, either 6.18 or 6.22)
Soundblaster Live platinum
Maxtor 30 gig
Creative 52X CDROM

I haven't had time to upgrade to 6.31 on the vid card, and most likely won't be able to do so until this weekend. One more thing....how do you calculate the AGP bus speed? Like I had before, my FSB was 110, what would my agp be? Thanks so much for the help guys.

Maybe your video card is on its last leg...

try this, uninstall all video drivers... then reboot and install the detonator 6 series driver that worked best for you...
