ok this is driving me crazy...

ok...so i got a new kickass 42" 1080p TV and i hooked it up to my PC via DVI (without rebooting or anything) and it didnt work (the LCD i was using via DVI worked great). so, i rebotoed, you can see everything up until the windows loading logo goes away and the login screen is supposed to come up. ive tried to put it back on the old monitor but it wont work on any of my 3 displays...VGA or DVI...i tried to isntall a PCI video card...it worked fine via VGA...put my 6800gt AGP back in and the same problem...looks awesome at boot...no signal after loading logo goes away

oh, it works perfect in safe more at any res via VGA or DVI...

so...wtf is up?

anywho...i saw 'run in VGA mode when i was pushing F*...i'm currently DLING nvidia drivers...maybe that will work

What model of TV? Not all are really PC compatible. Check the resolution and timings table for your monitor, it will be in the manual.

the TV is PC compatible...i know for a fact is is VIA DVI or VGA
even if that were it...why doesnt my old mon work?

after reinstalling the drivers it works great...now to decide if its too big, lol
