Good idea but I have to say that usually e-mailing the mods is the most effective way to communicate directly with them, including submitting suggestions.

Why not just post the items individually? If they're incredibly insignificant -- a free trial of ketchup, say -- put a bunch in a thread. But if it's something really good that's free, it's worth it's own thread. Once the FREE thread hits a couple hundred posts, and it will, people will stop wading through it.

free stuffs are good. deserve their own threads. if they clogged in one single thread, the replies and new posts will mess up and it's even harder to find out new deals.

Good free items deserve their own thread.. crap ones (like fre condoms or free jelly bellies!) are not considered a "hot deal" and don't deserve to be here... I would hate to have to enter a thread like the "I wanna" and search for something "hot" among all the crappy free condoms...

Oh- a free item forum would be much better than a free item thread... and fragarific- great sig.

Well, we have three votes for the free item only thread, four votes against the free item only thread and two votes where a clear choice is not openly apparent. I believe a recount is in order, and we should have an clear cut winner in say, 4-8 weeks.
