Ok temperatures for Hard Drives?

I've been keeping track of my CPU temps since I put my new system together, but totally ignoring my HD temps. Noticed today that it runs from mid to high 30s (haven't seen it hit 40, but it was sitting at 39 for awhile), depending on the temp in my room. Is this ok? Whats the highest it can go safely?
 
I believe that's pretty normal.

Mine are usually around 40C, or so Speedfan tells me.
 
My Seagate SATA drive hovers around 40C (at 41 now). I hope this will improve once I get some better case fans.
 
40 is fine. Mine hit 50 after excessive useage which is hotter than my processor 🙁 still, no problems encountered yet.
