Goddammit. WTF is with you people today? I suppose everyone who died in a car crash shoulda been happy walking, right? :|

PipBoy, you're a dick. Many people have surgery to correct long time physical deformaties. Others have it to please judgemental assholes like yourself.

Appearence is vital in our society. To act as if it's not is just silly.

Depends what she was in for. If it was corrective for something, then it's quite tragic. If it's purely cosmetic and vanity oriented, then it's not so tragic.

would you people feel the same way if someone had braces on their teeth but ended up contracting AIDS from a doctor who had an open wound on his/her hand? After all, braces are (mostly) cosmetic.

How can you say that? What if she was "correcting" drooping jowls that people get as they age? It's ALL "corrective."

Irony is when a rapist is raped in prision, not when someone dies for having a medical procedure done.

You must love it when people die because of complications from a gastric bypass procedure.

As someone who knew a person that died from plastic surgery, she didn't deserve to die and left two children behind that are not without parents.

She was one of the kindest and most loving people I had the honor of knowing.

You Sir are a dick.

Hmm I didn't see Vanity in there....many if you put down the pr0n and got out you would realize that perhaps people get plastic surgery for problems....not just 'hey look at me, look at me!'

WTF? Who cares if she was or was not happy with how she looked? It was her decision to have the surgery, and it is incredibly unfortunate that she has died.
