So because your area happens to be colder than usual at this very moment, somehow proves that there is no global warming?
Do you somehow believe that global warming means that "It will be hotter than average everywhere all the time"?

It is warmer then normal where I am at, so the global warming has moved south.

Global warming really means that on average, the temperature of the planet rises. That rise in temperature can affect wind-patterns and ocean-currents in such way that some areas of the globe will be warmer while others will be considerably colder.
This kind of thinking is the flaw behind the WHOLE arguement, global warming or not.
We don't understand the weather. We don't even say we do. It baffles us. We couldn't predict the weather if we had to.
The dynamics involved are just far too great. A warming in one section of ocean can cause an area all the way on the other side of the globe to become colder. The opposite is also true. It works together in very complex ways that we just don't get yet.
Global warming doesen't necessarily mean that the whole Earth is going to turn tropical. Of course not. There is still winter.. The reason the poles are cold is because they do not recieve very much sunlight. There will always be cold air up there..

I fould some holes in her theory and e-mailed her. I bitched her out. heh then I asked for her concrete proof that she talks about having. I never got a reply.

First it was global cooling..then y2k..then global warming. Rest assured the sky is falling and they have flawed goofy computer modeling to prove it. And if that fails green peace will show ya a chunk of ice falling of a glacier to get your donations. It's all about social control and limiting your personal freedoms and rights.

Not really.
Tonight it is supposed to dip below freezing for only the second time this winter, which compared to previous winters it is a mild one so far.
Man does not understand weather, as soon as we think we do Mother Nature throws a curve and introduces something we have never seen before (Like back in 1994 when the 'elf' was recorded above the clouds for the first time)

(not kidding again) nearly all males here originated from Scandinavia, Scotland or Ireland. The women on the other hand are from all over Europe. Thats because when the men went on a Viking they took alot of female slaves to take back home Im not sure about you guys but its almost feb and I havent seen any frost here in the bay area.
I go to work in the wee hours at around 5am or so and every year in the winter my car used to be covered with frost that I had to hose off every morning.
I have yet to see that this year. I think its hotter here than normal. I wonder if our coldest days are behind us!

lol, do u know what global warming is and how it influences the weather....
it different everywhere - the only thing that seems to be universal is that the weather is getting more extreme each year. Ech year we get: highest flood ever, strongest storm ever, warmest winter ever, coldest summer ever, most rain ever longet drought ever and so on.
In my area when I was a kid the question was when will the snow come - Nowadays the question is will there be snow at all and will it stay longer than a day....
the climate is just going wild - but sure everything is fine and we just need to burn more oil and cut more rain forest and things will be even more prosperous for our kids - right
