Ok, so what do you do with your ipod touch while riding bikes?

I'm kind of scared to put it in my pocket. What I'd love is a semi-clear pouch with a lanyard attached I could wear around my neck that was waterproof. . .

Any such animal out there I've perused a few stores and have yet to see it. . .

Does it have to be a lanyard? They have waterproof armbands, but you can also use an otterbox and attach a lanyard to it.

I've had several electronics with my riding, and now an iPhone. I've always used clear ziploc bags, to great effect.

I just use a cloth zippered pouch. When I first got the device I tried a clam-shell case and screen protector but those are just annoying. Why bother getting a nice sleek device if I'm going to kill the ergonomics with attachments? The pouch works great for just carrying it around and if I want to use it while working out (typically on a stationary bike rather than a real one, but still . . .) I can just hang the headphone cord out of the the zipper and it's fine. I've had mine for well over a year now and though it's usually pretty smudged up from finger prints, the screen is still scratch free. The metallic back cover however has gotten pretty scuffed up, but I think that's moreso due to it sitting on the back either on my desk or my car's console if I listen over the radio.

EDIT:

This is pretty close to mine. Mine' by case logic but has a different pattern.
