Not a wii U just the original one... Never owning one. We like it because it get's us off the couch...
I'm not sure if this belongs in the Console or the PC section... One sad point about the Wii is they give you a Composit cable ... I was NOT expecting that at all! Come on man, Nintendo let's put a frigen HDMI port on the back of these things already. I haven't seen one of those cables since... Well, A VERY LONG time and I wasn't even sure my tv had an input for that. It did.
So I'm snooping around ... And I'm looking at all the games I can D/L. And people commenting on how great they look on Dolphin Emulator... Huh? What's all that about. So dig a little deeper! Wow, So, I can just buy 2 game controllers a wireless sensor bar... And I don't need to buy a HDMI box to plug into the Wii to upscale 480P to 1080P... Hmmmm Sounding better... So I downloaded it, and it seems to RUN DonkyKong Returns ... Now I don't have to shuffle CD's... Hmmm Better... Win Win!
Anyone play with Dolphin Emulator? Are all the Wii remotes use bluetooth or is it just special I'm about ready to take back the Wii and buy two remotes and a sensor bar. I am aware that some of the games don't run properly or at all with the emulator and that's cool. I don't want a shoot em up game just the fun lame ones.
ANY INPUT and What controller / Numchuck / Lightbar hardware you use with it would be great. I guess I'm going to try the emulator rout. Seems like the way to go for us. I heard that some third party hardware isn't compatible with the emulator ... I don't have bluetooth for my PC but Plan on getting that to see if the original controller works with it. But I'd need a lightbar first. Do they make USB lightbars that can plug into a PC?
Anyone's input weather heat it or like it would be good!
Thanks!
